Description
Stop! Don't throw away the whole lamp! 🛠️
Who doesn't know it? You want to change the tube or clean the lamp, and when opening it, one of the small plastic clips that hold the lamp holder in the tray breaks off. Since these clips are not available as official spare parts from LEDVANCE, I have accurately reconstructed them
This clip replaces the original part and ensures that your lamp holder sits securely and firmly in the "Damp Proof" tray
Compatibility
Successfully tested with:
- Model: LEDVANCE DAMP PROOF 1500 2XLAMP HOUSING
- Item number: AC183560155
- Socket: G13 / T8 LED
The clip should probably also fit other models of the "Damp Proof" series that use this rotary locking system
Print Recommendations
Since the clips are under mechanical stress and it can get warm in the luminaire (depending on the environment), I recommend the following settings:
- Material: PETG or ASA/ABS (due to better flexibility and heat resistance compared to PLA)
- Infill: 100% (for maximum stability)
- Walls: At least 3
- Support: Not necessary (depending on orientation)
Assembly
Simply place it in the recess of the lamp holder and rotate it 90 degrees until it clicks into place – just like the original
