Description

Finally, a precision-engineered solution for the ultimate Grimdark heavy tank! This kit allows you to convert a WWI Mk. IV Tadpole base chassis into a massive Baneblade-class super-heavy, perfect for the Praetorian Guard or any regimental collection that values Victorian elegance and overwhelming firepower.

Pictured below are the model kits I used alongside the parts I designed.

🛠️ The Story

Originally designed in 2020, this project was shelved due to resin warping issues on large structural parts. These files have been completely overhauled for the Bambu Lab X1C, prioritizing engineering accuracy and a perfect  fit. No more gaps, no more warps—just crisp, historical detail.

📦 What’s Included:

  • Top Heavy Bolter Housing: A dominant, top-mounted artillery housing designed to accept a War Hammer heavy bolter
  • Sponsum Mounts: Side housings designed to accept a War Hammer heavy bolter

🎨 Modeling Note:

For an authentic look, I recommend a Blue-Grey and Gold scheme inspired by the 1879 Zulu War Royal Artillery. It bridges the gap between the 1917 silhouette and the 40k universe perfectly.
