Description
A cable clip to save the USB-C charging port on the SteamDeck.
Print in place with no supports. Printed in PLA, but anything should work.
When playing handheld while charging the plug can get pulled at an awkward angle, potentially damaging it over time.
This print acts as a strain relief by clipping to the body of the SteamDeck and holding a loop of the charging cable in a fixed position.
Designed for the original charging adapter with a cable diameter of 4 mm.
If you need another diameter let me know.
There are 3 plates:
- Single color with the logo debossed
- Plain with no logo
- AMS multicolor logo
I designed it to clip securely while still being able to slide left and right on the SteamDeck.
If you want a tighter fit you can scale the print down in the y-direction.
Make sure to not block the vents, as that can lead to overheating.
