Description

This is just a fun chore chart I designed for my own kids to use that can be attached to the fridge, or any metal object. We weren't very consistent at tracking and rewarding our 6 year old for the chores she did and this has been a fun reusable visual that has worked well for us. Now on Sunday we count up the check marks are pay them in “motion picture” money that they can use to shop the prize bin.

This file uses 6x2mm round magnets I got on amazon. I have purchased 2 different listings and both are slightly different actual sizes but both fit fine.

There will be a pause at the start of the layer that covers the magnets of the check marks and I have had no problem doing several batches of just putting the magnets in the hole. I use glue once and then decided to try without and every time it worked fine without glue. Everything other than the check marks get the magnets put in after the print is complete.

WHEN PLACING THE 2 MAGNETS IN THE TOOL BE SURE THEY ARE OPPOSITE DIRECTIONS OR YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO REMOVE THE CHECK MARKS ONCE THEY HAVE BEEN FLIPPED

The file has the task bars printed face down because I was using a smooth plate for my most recent one. All the pictures I attached are ones I printed with the letters up. You decide how you want to go about that.

As far as the color scheme I have decided any I do in the future will have black check marks and black task lettering. The images I posted worked fine using different colors but my daughter wanted a pink an purple one and the letters did not show up well at all so I switched to black and you still get plenty of color from the ones they choose.

The top layer is the "Hilbert Curve" patter and I recommend leaving it as that. I had come annoying lines using monotonic and monotonic line because of how it traveled and then joined back up that did not go away by the time it printed the top layer.

These are the magnets I have personally purchased and worked:
