Dionysus/Bacchus – Classic Bust of the God of Wine
Print Profile(1)

Description
Dionysus, god of wine, ecstasy, and the vitality of nature, is one of the most enigmatic figures in Greek mythology. Son of Zeus and the mortal Semele, he represents the primordial force of life that breaks balances and transforms order into creative energy

Unlike the Olympian deities linked to law and measure, Dionysus belongs to the dimension of instinct, celebration, and sacred intoxication. Wine becomes a symbol of metamorphosis: what is born from the earth changes form, frees the mind, and dissolves the boundaries between rationality and impulse
In this sculpture, the god is recognizable through his most iconic attributes: the vine crown and grape clusters, emblems of nature's fertility and the vine's transformative power. The face retains a classical balance and an almost contemplative calm, in contrast to the symbolic energy of the plant elements surrounding it

• Make sure the print bed is perfectly clean (IPA or soap and water) to ensure good adhesion
• Use correct temperatures for filament and bed and ensure your printer is well calibrated
• When removing supports, pay special attention to the vine leaves, which are the most delicate parts of the model
• Remove supports calmly and precisely, using tweezers or modeling tools if necessary
• Small artifacts on overhangs are normal in FDM printing and can be improved with light sanding
