Description

This adapter provides an additional flat surface to mount front DVR camera on your KTM 1290 SAS (21+). It utilizes the existing damped mount screws from the radar, eliminating the need for additional screws. Simply use two-sided adhesive to secure the camera to the adapter, and may be add a few cable ties to secure the camera cable.

Of course, you can directly attach the camera to the radar, as many of us have done, but I don't like how camera in this case protrudes too far forward. Also it adds extra weight to the radar, and as result, radar dumping may not function optimally.

Of course, it should be printed using weather-resistant and rigid filament, such ASA, with multiple walls in the perimeter. Keep it oriented at 45 degree to the table, as in provided profile, to make it more stiff. Do not print it on a flat side to avoid layers separation under vibration.

P. S. This part tested with only KTM 1290 SAS (21+) model year. I am not sure about SAR, which doesn't have radar, and almost sure it will not fit other model.
