Ulanzi 40W/Pro/100W High-Strength COB Cap

This is a precision-engineered protective cap for Ulanzi compact COB video lights (such as the Ulanzi 40W (LT028), 40W Pro (L023), and 100W). It protects the sensitive COB LED element and glass lens from dust, fingerprints, and impact during transport.

Unlike many flat-printed designs where the mounting tabs are prone to snapping, this model is optimized for maximum durability through a specific printing orientation.

Critical Print Settings for Strength

To ensure the mounting tabs do not snap along the layer lines, do not print this flat on the bed. * Orientation: Print at a 45-degree angle (see the slicer screenshot). This ensures the filament strands run diagonally through the tabs, making them significantly stronger than if printed horizontally.

• Supports: Use Tree Supports. They are easy to remove and provide the necessary stability for the angled print.
• Material: PETG, ABS, or ASA are highly recommended. These materials offer better flexibility and heat resistance than PLA, which is important as COB lights can retain heat after use.
• Wall Loops: Increase to 3 or 4 walls for extra structural integrity.
• Infill: 20–25% (Gyroid or Adaptive Cubic).
