Description
To celebrate Castlevania's 40th anniversary, this book nook recreates the eerie chamber connecting the Abandoned Pit and the Catacombs from the legendary game Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
Hidden between your books, the scene reveals a gothic stone corridor inspired by one of the most atmospheric rooms in Dracula’s castle. A massive Cerberus relief emerges from the right wall, while the left wall features ascending ledges that Alucard uses to navigate through the room. At the center rises a twisting gothic column, with stone torch pedestals illuminating the floor.
The result is a miniature architectural scene designed to capture the dark mood and layered depth of the original game environment.
Lighting (Optional)
The floor torches are designed to support 1.8mm LEDs.
Wiring can be routed through a 2mm hole located at the bottom-left corner of the back wall, allowing the wires to exit cleanly behind the model.
For easiest installation, it is recommended to insert LEDs before assembling the walls.
I used these 1.8mm flickering LEDs from Evan Designs

- Insert the interior scene into the outer shell
- Glue your preferred front brick façade

Choose whichever option best fits your printing preferences.
Optional Details
Two small wall torches are included and can be placed on the ledges of the left wall.
These can be left removable or glued depending on preference.
Filament Suggestions
To recreate the game’s look:
• Stone walls: dark gray
• Column & torches: blue-gray
• Cerberus carving & ledges: bronze or gold
Painting or filament swaps can further enhance the scene.
Final Result
Once assembled, the book nook reveals a torchlit gothic chamber hidden between your books — a tribute to one of the most memorable games from the PSX era.
