Description

This highly modular system offers endless customization. Simple and easy to assemble, this mini-system works incredibly well. (Note: Printing in PETG is highly recommended over PLA.)

Key Features & Components

  • Highbanker: Features an integrated quick-connect hose and is compatible with all available mat profiles.
  • Mat Profiles: Choose from a wide variety of profiles designed to catch everything from pickers to fine flour gold. Requests for custom mat profiles are welcome.
  • Flare Design: Customize your water intake with 5°, 9°, or 13° flare angles. You can also start with a 13° angle and reduce the slope using a 4° adapter. Flare extensions are available at the head to capture more water in river currents.
  • Leg Attachments: These splayed, rotatable legs attach to the mats, flare, or highbanker for maximum stability. You can 3D print the legs or use custom hardware to achieve your desired height.
  • Quick Connector Hose: Designed for easy water flow at the head of the sluice, this features an integrated Gardena-style quick connector. A compact version is also available.
  • Dredge Box: Transform your highbanker into a floating system using the float attachments. It features a swappable inlet (5 cm / 2 in or 4 cm / 1.5 in) and is designed to accommodate DIY floats like pool noodles or plastic bottles.
  • Vertical Sluice Box: Stack your mats vertically using these elements, allowing them to snap together just like Legos.
  • Bucket Holder: An excellent option for a minimalist setup. It is designed to hold a standard Home Depot bucket; simply cut a 10 \(\times \) 2 cm hole at the bottom to allow water to flow through the sluice.
