Description

🧬 Resident Evil “Requiem” – Blister Borne

Highly Detailed Mutant – 2 Part Print (Model + Base) – Unpainted

The infection has evolved into something far worse.

The Blister Borne is a towering bio-mutant covered in grotesque swelling growths, exposed muscle tissue, and parasitic tendrils erupting from the body. Its massive screaming maw and asymmetrical mutations make it feel like a true late-stage outbreak monster.

This sculpt was designed as a display centerpiece, packed with organic textures perfect for painting and high-detail printing.

🖨️ Printing Recommendations

FDM Printing

  • Layer height: 0.12–0.16
  • Use tree supports under:
    • Jaw and mouth interior
    • Arms and fingers
    • Chest tendrils
    • Belly overhangs
  • Slow outer wall speed to preserve surface detail.

Resin Printing (Best Quality)

  • 0.05mm layer height
  • Angle the model slightly backward
  • Medium supports under:
    • Jaw
    • Arms
    • Tendrils
    • Base edges

Resin prints will capture the tiny blister clusters and flesh textures extremely well.

🎨 Painting Ideas

This monster really shines with horror-style painting:

  • Sickly green / purple infection tones
  • Gloss varnish for wet flesh and mouth
  • Dark washes inside blister clusters
  • Yellowish pustules with red irritation around them
  • Bone / ivory teeth

Mixing matte skin and glossy infected areas creates a realistic bio-horror look.

🔧 Assembly

  • Simple 2-part assembly
  • Creature slots onto the display base
  • Use CA glue (FDM) or UV resin (resin prints) for permanent attachment
