With this adapter, the distance of the wire spool can be changed so that the spool no longer grips the pin. This makes the wire spool much easier to rotate, which primarily reduces wire feed problems when welding aluminum.
The spacer fits perfectly on the wire feeder of the XLaserlab X1 Pro laser welding machine. However, it may also fit all other wire feeders.
