Outdoor Camera Cover - Wall Mount Sun/Rain Shield

This is a set of relatively simple wall mounted sun, rain, or snow camera covers.   I actually bought one of these on Amazon and it ended up cracking and falling off the building within the first two years.  So I figured I couldn't do much worse then that and designed my own.

I highly recommend using ASA for this for it's weather and UV resistance.  The large one in the picture (white background) is Bambu ABS in white and it's holding up in a spot that gets limited sunlight.  The small one (wood background) is PolyMaker ASA in white.  PETG might work depending on your climate.  It's printed standing upright and in this position it does not require any supports.  However the layer lines are parallel with the stress line so this is definitely a weak point which is why the mounting and inner ring has a little reinforcement along with plenty of walls.  If you are printing this with ASA/ABS in a heated chamber you should be fine and mine has held up so far outside without issues.  But if you are printing with another material or not in a heated enclosure you may want to rotate and print with supports.  

Both models will fit on a standard 256x256x256 bed but can easily be scaled bigger or smaller.  If you do scale it smaller you might need to drill out the screw holes.  The standard unit is about 190mm long (off the wall), 300mm wide, and 130mm tall (about 7.5"h x 12"w x 5"l) while the opening is 245mm wide (about 9.5").  The smaller unit is about 140mm long (off the wall), 243mm wide, and 100mm tall (about 5.5"h x 9.5"w x 4"l) while the opening is 177mm wide (about 7").  The one in the picture I scaled the standard one on the width to 90% and the length to 90% and left the height to make it a little more compact.
