Egg Maze — Pin-Navigate Hidden Compartment Puzzle
Print Profile(2)

Description
Crack this egg the hard way — the fun way. Hidden inside every Egg Maze is a secret compartment locked behind a real internal pin maze you have to physically navigate to open it. Stuff it with cash, candy, a note, or a tiny treasure and watch someone work for every last bit of the surprise. Perfect for Easter baskets, escape-room lovers, and anyone who thinks a gift should be earned.
⚠️ Scaling Note: The pin and maze bore are tolerance-fit by design. Scale uniformly only. Scaling below ~70mm tall may tighten tolerances and require light sanding on the pin cylinder for smooth navigation. Recommend test-fitting before filling with a surprise.

Tips & Tricks
- Test the pin fit first — before loading a surprise inside, do a dry run of the maze a couple times to confirm smooth travel. A light pass with 220-grit sandpaper on the pin cylinder clears any elephant foot from the first layer.
- Stuff it right — rolled bills, a folded note, or small wrapped candy fit perfectly. Avoid anything rigid that could wedge and prevent the top from seating flush.
- Print the shell upright — pointy end up with the bore opening facing down gives the cleanest maze channels with no drooping.
- Scale for difficulty — larger prints (100mm+) give more maze path length and a harder challenge. Smaller prints (~65mm) are quicker solves, great for younger kids.
- Mix and match colors — print a batch of 6 eggs in different colorways for a full Easter hunt set. Each one can hide a different surprise.
