This is a functional, space-saving sink strainer designed to hang directly on your kitchen faucet. It is an ideal solution for draining sponges, holding small cleaning tools, or catching food scraps. I designed this specific model to improve my own sink organization, and it has worked perfectly.
Key Features:
- Optimal Fit: The hanging hook is specifically designed to fit faucets with a 45mm diameter base.
- Precise Positioning: There is a 23mm gap from the faucet base to the start of the strainer, positioning it perfectly over the sink bowl.
- Fine Drainage: The bottom features a pattern of precision-drilled holes with a 3mm diameter for efficient water flow.
- Easy to Clean: The two parts separate easily for thorough cleaning, and rounded inner edges prevent food buildup.
- Durable: Designed with a reinforced connection point to handle the weight of items in the strainer.
Print Settings & Tips:
- Material: PETG is highly recommended for its water and temperature resistance.
- Orientation & Supports: * Hook Part: Prints perfectly flat on the bed without any supports.
- Strainer Part: This part requires supports to hold the top lip during printing, as shown in the provided slice screenshot. I recommend using "Tree Supports" for easiest removal.
- Walls: 3-4 wall loops are recommended for both parts to ensure durability.
- Infill: 15-20% Gyroid or Grid.
