Description

This exhaust adapter was designed specifically for the P2S with the new back plate configuration, allowing integration with external exhaust setups while remaining fully compatible with an existing modular ecosystem.

This model is built to interface directly with the twist-lock system developed by @Astelier (3DAstelier) — a well-designed modular air system that enables quick, secure connections across multiple adapters and ducting solutions.

  • Direct fit for P2S new back plate
  • Enables use of external exhaust fans
  • Maintains full compatibility with the twist-lock modular interface
  • Designed for a secure, repeatable mechanical connection

Full credit to @Astelier (3DAstelier) for the original modular twist-lock ecosystem.
This adapter was created to expand that system specifically for P2S users with the updated rear plate, enabling more flexible ventilation configurations.

To install and ensure a solid, airtight fit:

  • 6× M3x4 screws (Hex Socket Head Cap Screws)
  • 6× M3 thread inserts
  • 6× M3 washers
  • Recommended: foam or gasket tape between adapter and printer for improved sealing

Can be printed without supports.
