Description

These three boxes are all you need to keep your Nidavellir board game properly organized. They are compatible with both expansions: Thingvellir and Idavoll.

  • Each box features a wood-grain pattern around the exterior to preserve the theme and style of the game.
  • The sections inside the boxes are labelled at the bottom to clearly indicate where everything belongs.
  • Separate compartments are included for added convenience, such as the 5-player era cards, the mid-game evaluation (Troop Assessment), and the special coin.

Additionally,  the sliding lids are secured with a cantilever system. An audible “click” confirms when the lid is engaged, keeping the box properly closed. Opening and closing the lids is smooth and reliable.

Box Storing Instructions

Put the following items in the box, in this order.

  • Large Manuals
  • All three boxes. With the short edges facing the same side, set the boxes in this order.

    • Coin Box
    • Card Box
    • Token Box

  • On top of the token boxes, put the long display coin racks. Set the short coin display racks upright in the free space between the card box and the token box.

  • Put the scoring pads next to the card box and the token box. The total height should be flush with the display racks set on token box.

  • Set the player across from the scoring pads and the token box, followed by the larger tiles.

  • Add the rest of the display racks.

Boost Me (for free)

My Nidavellir insert has been rebuilt from the ground up with themed wood-grain boxes and numerous functional improvements. All three boxes support both expansions and now feature clearly labelled sections and dedicated compartments for 5-player era cards, Troop Assessment, and the special coin. The sliding lids use a cantilever mechanism with a satisfying “click” for a secure, reliable closure.

Note: This is a complete redesign from an earlier version that I had previously made. It was one of my very first designs, back when I was just starting out with Fusion 360. The older files have been delisted but can still be found here.

Thank you very much, but this new model does not quite match my research, I do not wish to dismantle the royal treasure. Thank you anyway
