A minimalist pot cover designed to fit standard nursery pots:

Perfect for aroids and other indoor plants that remain in their inner plastic nursery pots.

🧵 Material & Print Notes

I printed my own pots using PLA Matte White.

In my personal use, they hold water well even with wick watering systems, and I haven’t experienced leakage. However, final watertightness may vary depending on printer settings, wall thickness, and filament brand.

The model can be printed in PLA or PETG:

PLA:

• If used only as a decorative outer cover and no water accumulates inside, additional treatment is not required.
• If used with wick watering, self-watering setups, or in situations where water may collect at the bottom, sealing the inner surface with epoxy resin is recommended.
• Sealing improves moisture resistance and increases long-term durability.

PETG:

• No additional sealing is required.
• PETG offers better inherent moisture resistance and is more suitable for regular water exposure.

• This is a pot cover, not a planting container.
• The plant remains in a nursery pot placed inside.
• For regular water contact, PETG or sealed PLA is recommended.
