Description
Essential tool for trimming edge banding on melamine and other furniture panels. This tools allows to cut the glued banding to size but using a fine grained sandpaper is still recommended for final finishing.
The tool uses a standard carpet cutter blade. The blade is positioned in an angle that improves cutting quality and ensures only the very edge is cut and rest of the board is not damaged.
Unique feature: an adjustment screw for precise cutting depth control.

Bill of Materials
- 3 x M3x14 mm button head
- hex nut 3 x M3
- Utility Blade x 1
Instructions
- Snap three segments from the blade. The blade can be inserted only one way.
- Seal the blade with cover piece and tighten with 2 x M3 bolts.
- Insert the adjustment bolt nut (tweezers recommended).
- Tighten the adjustment bolt until it pushes the blade.
- NB! The vertical printing angle may cause sagging of the adjustment bolt hole, this is intentional to ensure tight fit, avoid loosening and enable adjustments with small increments
- Grab your test piece and make a cut. Please use a test piece.
- At this point the blade should be too high and leave a small crease. Loosen the adjustment bolt by small increments to achieve close cut without damaging the board itself.
