Lords of Waterdeep – Premium Insert 

Designed for Lords of Waterdeep + Scoundrels of Skullport, stored cleanly in the original box.

This game deserves more than plastic bags and stacked decks. It deserves structure, clarity, and an insert that matches the tone and weight of Waterdeep itself.

Everything has its place.

Imporant note - there are 2 print versions!

There are two print profiles on this model

• Original printing - the version I have myselv. Stable, tested, that fits the original box
• Renegade printing (2026)  - reworked to fit the new , slightly smaller box and thicker tiles. 

If you've printed the renegade version in the suggested colors, I'd love to see how it turned out. Photos, similar to the ones I've taken, for the print profile would bed hugely appreciated - both for confirming the fit and so that others can see what they're getting.

Individual Player Boxes

Each player receives a dedicated, color-matched box:

• Space for agents and markers
• Compact footprint for the table

They lift straight from the box to the table and keep each player’s area contained and organized.

An alternate player box layout is included for those who want more color complexity. This version uses up to 5 colors per box and works with multiple AMS units or AMS + manual filament swaps.

Aesthetic Integration

The color scheme is matched to the game:

• Caramel and Desert Tan for the architectural base
• Dark Chocolate for depth and contrast
• Silk+ Gold for framing details and highlights
• Matte accent colors for each player box

The result is cohesive and intentional - it looks like it belongs in Waterdeep.

All component details are shifted in the layers - nothing is painted on the models.
Slice the models and open preview to see the color transitions and embedded detailing.

Storage & Handling

Designed for vertical storage - it fits neatly on a shelf spine-out with no issues. One thing to be aware of: the the box lid only covers roughly a third of the box, so it won't hold everything in on its own when stored vertically. A rubber band around the full box solves this completely. It's a box design quirk, not an insert one.

Sleeves

The insert is designed for sleeved cards. It will also work for unsleeved cards, with a loose fit.  Check list below for sleeve thickness

• Thin sleeves <100 microns : easy fit
• 100 micron sleeves : easy fit 
• Thick sleeves >100<120: tight fit 
• Super premium sleeves or double sleeved (why would anyone do this for Brass?) : no fit
