Description

Strikeout! Take the mound and dominate the strike zone with your three signature pitches: fastball, slider and curveball. The batters knees buckle as you strike them out looking…from your couch or on the go!

I had a lot of fun modeling this from an idea I had while watching baseball last year. Take this fun baseball-themed pitching fidget in hand to keep yourself occupied while watching baseball or thinking about baseball!

Boost Me (for free)

I hope you give the model a try! I really appreciate a boost if you can spare - it really helps me to keep going with the 3D modeling!

What I like about this print:

  • Simple, smooth sliding function along the general path for three pitches (left to right): curveball, slider, fastball.
  • Baseball aesthetics — paint the corners with the strike zone design and baseball feel
  • Easy to customize — Swap colors to match your favorite MLB team, your kid’s team, or your weekend rec league.

On Printing and Assembling:

  • Print Profile 1: AMS-configured, two different sizes and sliced as “print by object” to help with the purge waste (though disclaimer, the red and white baseball object will generate some waste)
  • If you want to save some waste, print the white ball separately with multiple balls to get more value for your purge waste
  • Print Profile 2: single color, two different sizes
  • Assembly - apply some glue (I use gorilla glue with the brush applicator) along the raised edge of the bottom piece, then align and hold the top piece in place for a minute or two. Recommend you let it cure for a day to help it cure. Just wedge the ball in around the top part of the sliding talk.

I have some ideas to improve in a Gen 2 version, so watch for that! Thanks for taking a look and giving my design a try!
