Description

Overview

A simple (but sturdy) case for the raspberry pi 5. I made this one a little thicker than my raspberry pi zero case in order to make it a little more solid and able to protect the pi. Given how necessary active cooling is to prevent throttling with the Raspberry Pi 5, I’ve included some ventilation holes above the fan as well as some holes in the bottom of the case to accommodate the mounts for the active cooler.

Assembly

To assemble, start with the bottom half of the case (the piece without hexagon cutouts).

Place the raspberry pi without the micro SD card on the base.

Then, flip the case upside-down and insert the micro SD card.

After flipping it back over, line the top half of the case up with the bottom half and push down until they’re sitting snuggly together.
