Description

Adjustable Desk lamp designed from scratch and 3D printed in PETG, featuring dual adjustable GU10 spotlights ready for 230 V LED bulbs.

Product description

This table lamp is an original design, developed from the ground up and optimized for functional 3D printing. All structural parts are printed in PETG, a material that is more durable, tougher and more heat‑resistant than PLA, ideal for mechanical components subjected to everyday use. The design is inspired by professional lab arms, with clean lines and a technical look that fits perfectly on a desk, workbench or reading corner.

The two spotlights use GU10 bulbs (not included), the most common standard for domestic 230 V LED spotlights, easy to find and replace. The GU10 base features a two‑pin twist‑lock bayonet connection that ensures a secure fit in spotlight applications. You can use GU10 bulbs of different wattages and color temperatures to adapt the light to reading, computer work or accent lighting.

Movements and adjustments

The lamp is equipped with a rotating base to orient the entire arm 40° on the support surface. The arms are made of several segments connected by adjustable joints with printed knobs, allowing you to raise, lower and tilt the lamp precisely. The longitudinal slots on the arms let you slide the fastening points, providing continuous adjustment of the height and reach of the arm relative to the base. The dual spotlights at the top are mounted on an adjustable holder, so you can rotate and tilt the light independently. The cable routing is integrated into the structure, with printed guides and strain relief to keep the wiring neat and protected.

Materials and build quality

The printed parts are made from PETG filament, which combines mechanical strength, excellent layer adhesion and higher temperature resistance than PLA, reducing the risk of deformation over time. PETG also offers good resistance to moisture and everyday environmental stress, making it suitable for demanding home and work environments. Screws, nuts and clamping components are housed in dedicated recesses, resulting in a solid structure that is easy to service. The printed finish enhances the technical aesthetics of the piece and highlights the handcrafted, one‑of‑a‑kind character of the lamp.
