Description

Why I designed this

Most of the available boxes were either too large or too compact, with fixed slots for specific parts.
If you don’t use all of them, you end up wasting space.

So I designed my own solution.

This toolbox is compact, but still flexible.

It includes:

  • Space for 6 Vortek hotends
  • Space for 6 regular hotends
  • An additional open compartment for tools, accessories or whatever fits your setup
  • PS: If there is no need for the Vortek insert, I also included a larger open compartment version as a replacement for the lower section.
Simply swap the insert depending on your setup and storage needs.

No forced layout.
No wasted space.
Just structured storage that actually makes sense.

Assembly

You will need:

  • 2x M2x35 mm screws (the original ones can be reused)
  • 2x additional M3 nuts

I decided to use nuts instead of directly threading into plastic.
During testing, screws eventually loosened over time and lost grip.
Using nuts ensures a more durable and reliable hold.

Future updates

If there is interest or specific requests, I’m happy to further optimize or expand the system.

Note:
I’m still relatively new to fine-tuning slicer settings, so there may be room for optimization.
If you have suggestions to improve print quality or efficiency, I’d be happy to hear your feedback.
