Description

By Popular Demand this is a Magazine Speed Loader for the AR-10 / SR-25 Platform in 7.62 x 51 / .308 caliber!

Special Thank You to, Bobby Greenawalt | Home - MakerWorld, for his assistance in the testing of this design!

Like my other Loader designs this uses minimal hardware and can be printed in just a few hours!

To assemble you'll need the following

2 x m3 x 12mm socket head screws for the Trigger hinge pins

1 x spring 8mm OD X 0.8mm wire x 25mm Long, for the Magazine Release

Note:

This Loader uses my “Snap Fit” Magazine Release design, to help keep the Button locked onto the split shaft of the Release arm, wedge a small piece of material of your choice in between the fingers of the arm, I used a length of zip tie and left it just below the surface of the button so I can remove it later if necessary.

Works perfectly, just like the smaller AR15 version. (Definitely add the shim to help secure the button as creator suggests)

for what magazine or rifle, i can probably create another with more information and if i can find a magazine cad file. this is for the .30-06 correct

any chance I could get the .step file? or could you make a dual filament one that makes the text a different color? I’m trying to print with petg and running into some issues.

thanks for the boosts but sorry, removing my designs is prohibited, I do not provide step files... that being said, if you want to add color to the embossing, just use the paint feature, but keep in mind petg and pla dont mix well, lots of people print these in petg but its unnecessary, pla has proven to be more than durable enough and hasn't failed yet... but that is also up to you... good luck

Ok, no worries, i was thinking more of a multi material model so the text is flat and just a different color, could maybe make printing with 0.6 or 0.8mm nozzle nicer as well. Designs are awesome though!

check out this, 9mm Magazine Speed Loader (SLV6 Remix) - Free 3D Print Model - MakerWorld this would be more appropriate for pistol loading but it would need to be scaled to fit the larger round, unfortunately i sold my 40, but i do have access to some so i could make another version for the larger rounds / mags...
