E46 Center airvent Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 mount

Overview This is a remixed version of the standard BMW E46 air vent, featuring a custom-integrated holder designed specifically for the Samsung Galaxy Fold 5. It provides a clean, secure mounting solution right on your dashboard.

Design Notes

• Fitment: The Fold 5 fits snugly into the holder by design.
• Recommendation: To completely eliminate any rattling while driving and to protect your device from scratches, I highly recommend lining the inside of the holder with a thin layer of soft padding (such as adhesive felt or thin EVA foam).

Printing Guidelines

This model takes up a significant amount of space and requires a bit of care to print successfully. Please note the following tips based on my test prints:

• Bed Adhesion: Due to the wide footprint, this model is prone to warping at the edges of the build plate. It is strongly recommended to use a good bed adhesive (like a glue stick or specialized 3D printing glue) and consider adding a brim to keep the corners locked down.
• Clearance & G-code: This is a large print that pushes the limits of standard print beds. Important: You will need to modify your start G-code to disable the initial purge line. If left enabled, the nozzle may collide with the purge line while printing the first layer of the model.
