ACO Drain Grate

Because my original "ACO Euroline Shadow Grey" drain grates were not the most beautiful and were actually starting to rust, I decided to design my own.

I measured my original grates and started drawing some ideas using FreeCAD.

I decided to try and print in Bambu Lab black (33102) PETG-HF.

The pieces are designed to fit a 256mmx265mm build plate.

After some experimentation, I decided to start with the following design, but will probably add some more designs in the future.

There are 3 pieces with 2 variants each:

1. A 90 degrees corner piece with a 5mm crossbar at each side that becomes a 1cm crossbar when pieces are next to each other
2. A straight piece with a 5mm crossbar at each side that becomes a 1cm crossbar when pieces are next to each other
3. An end piece with a 1cm crossbar at one side and a 5mm crossbar at the other side to connect to another piece

Each piece comes with or without dovetails to securely connect pieces together for a sleeker look and feel.
