Description
Because even garbage deserves personality. This resizable Pac-Man wheel cover adds a little arcade nostalgia to your standard residential trash bin. Designed to mount over the plastic wheel hub of common city trash cans. Since wheel sizes vary by municipality, this model is intentionally scalable to fit your specific bin (scale within Bambu Lab). My wheels are sized at 8-inches so I have sized them accordingly and you can easily make adjustments to fit your trash bin wheel specs. It won’t make trash day shorter… But it might make it more fun for you and your neighborhood.
Sizing Instructions
- Measure the diameter of your trash can wheel hub (flat inner area).
- Scale the model uniformly in your slicer to match.
- Test print at low infill if you want to verify fit first.
Tip: Leave 1–2 mm clearance if mounting over a slightly raised hub.
Installation Options
Option 1 – Drill & Bolt (Most Secure)
Option 2 – Spray Adhesive (this is what I did)
- Lightly sand back surface.
- Clean wheel surface thoroughly.
- Apply outdoor-rated spray adhesive.
- Allow to tack before pressing firmly into place.
Option 3 – Outdoor Double-Sided Tape
Quick and removable option.
Recommended Print Settings
- PETG recommended for outdoor use
- PLA acceptable in mild climates
- 0.2 mm layer height
- 3–4 walls
- 15–20% infill
- 3+ top/bottom layers
AMS-friendly two-color design:
- Yellow base
- Black eye detail
