Regular and french braiding tool
Print Profile(2)

Description
Hi
This is a helpful tool for making regular or french braids If you are a messy braider like me. For me hair strips are often sliping from hands and getting tangled with each other.
With this braiding tool you don`t have to hold all strips between fingers all the time. It helps to hold hair strands together and securely in slots when you are braiding. Perfect of all hair types, straight, curly, thick or fine. More suitable with longer hair. With shorter hair the braid wont be very long.
At first it seems complicated and the braiding order confusing. But with little practise it will soon go smoothly.
If the hair is thinner or/and shorter then i recomment using smaller braider.
Added a little handle for the person you are braiding to hold the tool (at least from the start). It will be easier to start braiding if you don´t have to hold the tool.
Update 09.03.2026: made additional models and print profile that are without handles.
How to use for regular braiding:
Put the braid tool to where you want to start braiding. Let the person you are braiding help to hold the tool from the handle.
Take desired amount of hair you want to be braded and divide it to three parts.
Put first hair strip into slot 1. Second hair strip into slot 3. Third hair strip into slot 4.
Now we start braiding.
Take hair strip from slot 4 and put it to slot 2.
Take hair strip from slot 3 and put it to slot 4.
Take from slot 1 and put it to slot 3.
Take from slot 2 and put it to slot 1.
Now are hair stips in the same location like we started. Continue like before.
Take hair strip from slot 4 and put it to slot 2.
Take hair strip from slot 3 and put it to slot 4.
Take from slot 1 and put it to slot 3.
Take from slot 2 and put it to slot 1.
Now are hair stips in the same location like before. Continue until braid is finished.
For french braiding:
Start braiding higher and add slowly more hair into the hair strips when taking from outer slots (1 and 4) as braid is getting longer.
Pictures are made with regular braids. I haven´t got the skill jet to make a nice french braid.
