Description

I have now updated my design to have an adjustable palm shelf, fatter grip width and (hopefully) meet the new grip reqirements.  New design can be found here:

===================================================================================

I have quite large hands and when I recently bought a secondhand Steyr air pistol I found the grip to be too small so I set to work designing my own based on a scan of the original Steyr grip and lots of measurements of the pistol and my hand.

I had previously made this into a mesh/web hollow grip but once when i invested in a P1S with multicolour opportunities I converted it back to a solid grip and had fun with the colours.  I printed in Sunlu PLA+ black and Bambu Sunflower Yellow PLA with the print oriented upright.  If I printed it again I would use support interface (or PETG) as the intericate pattern on the base did lead to a rough surface I needed to sand smooth.

This is an update of a previous air pistol grip design I published on Thingieverse at this location:

Hello, I have an LP10 equipped with an original Steyr XL grip. The grip is a bit small for my liking. Do you think your model would suit me?

It probably would. I have not used the Steyr XL (mine originally had a medium) but I have tried a friends Walther LP500 XL grip and I'd say this design is a little larger than that was

I’m curious, How did you measured your pistol and hand? I also tried a lot things to design a own Pistol Grip, but nothing really worked
