Zoroaster (Zarathustra) — Bust
Description
This bust portrays Zoroaster (Zarathustra) based on the most traditional and widely recognized artistic depictions in Persian art. It is inspired by the most popular representation of the prophet: long flowing beard, intense gaze, and a posture conveying spiritual authority.
Strongly defined volumes and deeply carved facial features give the sculpture symbolic presence. The focus on the face reflects wisdom and mysticism.
Zoroaster is regarded as the founder of Zoroastrianism, one of the world’s oldest monotheistic religions. His teachings center on the cosmic struggle between Good and Evil, represented by Ahura Mazda and Angra Mainyu. His influence shaped religious thought across the ancient Near East. This bust honors a foundational spiritual figure in human history.
