Description

Think your friends or family are prank-proof?

Think again.

This two-part Fake Toilet Paper Roll looks almost perfectly real — until the exact moment it matters most.

Designed for the MakerWorld April Fools Contest, this harmless but evil prank guarantees unforgettable reactions.

Concept

This model consists of two lightweight components:

Component 1 – Fake Paper Roll

Imitates an almost full toilet paper roll.

Recommended material: Matte White PLA

Component 2 – Cardboard Core

Represents the inner tube.

Recommended material: Beige PLA or PLA Wood for maximum realism

Both parts are strongly weight-optimized to reduce filament usage and print time while keeping a convincing appearance.

Print Recommendations

Layer height: 0.2 mm

Infill: 5%

Walls/Perimeters: Use at least 2–3 side walls for stability

Supports: Not required

Nozzle: 0.4 mm

Low infill is essential for fast printing and maximum efficiency.

For best results, print all parts separately to save time and filament.

A two-color print is possible but must be configured individually in the slicer.

The parts can be assembled with a form-fit connection: insert the mounting side up to the stop and rotate until it locks in place.

STEP files are included so you can easily modify the model. Feel free to add your own textures or lettering to match patterned toilet paper rolls.

Maximum Evil Instructions

Remove the real toilet paper roll.

Replace it with the fake one.

Hide the real roll somewhere safe.

Enjoy the confusion.

Timing is everything.
