🌿 Vine Blight Miniature – Strangling Growth of the Corrupted Wild
This miniature is part of the Monster Manual 2024 Collection, a series of iconic creatures faithfully reimagined as dynamic, tabletop-ready sculpts.

Vine Blights are not majestic forest spirits nor towering guardians — they are invasive growth given predatory intent. Animated by corruption, druidic imbalance, or malign influence, they spread through underbrush and forgotten groves like living snares.

The miniature depicts a humanoid mass of tangled vines and thorned tendrils rising from the forest floor. Its posture is hunched and forward-reaching, as if mid-lunge. One arm stretches outward in grasping motion, formed from thick braided vines that split into hooked, claw-like tendrils. The other arm curls inward, coiled and ready to ensnare prey.

The torso is sculpted from tightly wound plant matter, layered and interwoven to suggest muscular tension despite its botanical origin. The head is subtle and partially obscured — more suggestion than face — with hollow recesses where faint, vine-wrapped features emerge. This ambiguity enhances its unnatural presence.

Roots extend downward into the scenic base, blending seamlessly into leaf litter and mossy forest ground. The feet transition naturally into root clusters, reinforcing stability for 3D printing while maintaining organic realism.

No thin, unsupported tendrils extend freely; all vines either connect back into the body or anchor to the base for structural integrity and tabletop durability.

✨ Key Features

  • Humanoid mass of twisted vines and thorned tendrils
  • Dynamic grasping pose for ambush scenarios
  • Interwoven plant ā€œmusculatureā€ with organic texture
  • Root-integrated base for structural stability
  • Forest floor scenic base with leaf and moss detail
  • Designed for durable tabletop play and clean printing

šŸŽØ Great for Painting

Ideal for layered green gradients, from deep forest hues to sickly yellow-green highlights. Add subtle brown dry-brushing for bark texture and gloss accents for damp vine effects. Thorn tips can be painted in darker browns or blackened tones. The base benefits from muted earth tones with scattered leaf highlights.

šŸ“ Scale & Compatibility

Scaled for standard tabletop RPG play including Dungeons & Dragons. Perfect as an ambush predator in corrupted groves, druidic ritual guardian, swamp encounter, or minion of a Gulthias Tree or corrupted forest spirit.

It does not roar.
It does not charge.

It waits.
