🍪 Parametric Cookie Cutter Pro (Custom SVG) VERSION 2.0

This generator allows you to transform any SVG file into a complete cookie cutter with a stamper (emboss) and an ergonomic handle. The code has been optimized to ensure that even complex designs or those with separate parts generate a solid and resistant base.

• Stability Brim: Includes a reinforcement at the base of the walls to ensure the cutter does not detach from the print bed during printing.

Parameter Tutorial

1. SVG Settings

• svg_size: Defines the width (in mm) of your design. The code adjusts the height proportionally.
• relief_height: The height of the stamper (the part that presses into the dough). Recommended between 1.5mm and 2.5mm.
• svg_minimum_margin: This is the distance between your design and the edge of the cutter.
• internal_clearance: Defines a "clearance" between the stamper and the cutting wall. Useful to prevent the dough from sticking to the edges.

2. Base Shape

• base_shape:
  • 0 (SVG Shape): The cutter will have the exact contour of your design (more aesthetic and saves filament).
  • 1, 2, 3: Fixed geometric shapes (Square, Circle, or Hexagon) if you want a standard cutter.
• fusion_radius: This is the "secret" of the code. It slightly rounds the corners and joins nearby parts of the design. If your SVG has loose parts, increase this value until they connect.

3. Cutter Walls

• cutter_total_height: Total height of the walls that cut the dough. The default of 15mm works well for most doughs.
• cutter_wall_thickness: Thickness of the cutting blade. For a clean cut, values between 0.8mm and 1.2mm are ideal.
• brim_width: Width of the "brim" on the cutter's base. This increases the contact area with the print bed, preventing lifted corners (warping).

4. Handle

• enable_handle: Turns the side handle on or off.
• handle_offset_x: Defines how far the handle is from the cutter. Adjust it so it doesn't overlap the design.
• handle_r1 and handle_r2: Control the thickness of the base and top of the handle, allowing for a comfortable tapered shape for the fingers.

5. Quality

• resolution: The higher the value, the more "round" the circles and curves become. To export the final file (STL/3MF), use 64 or 128.

Printing Tip:

As this model will be used with food, it is recommended to use PETG filaments (which better resist slightly higher cleaning temperatures) or food-safe sealants. Remember to wash thoroughly after use!
