Higuruma's Gavel

After Higuruma's introduction episode I wanted his gavel for myself. The manga version of the gavel is extremely inconsistent, so I opted to design this model based off of the small snippets shown in the anime. 

Regular Version

The model is four pieces in total: the handle, middle of the head, and the two sides of the head. The handle and middle of the head are both threaded and securely fit together without the need for glue. I would suggest printing the handle standing up with the threaded end at the top. You might be able to print it without supports, but I cannot confirm if that will work because I printed mine with supports enabled. The middle section of the head should be printed with one of its flat edges on the build plate, and with supports enabled for inside the threaded hole. The sides of the head are identical, so just print two of the same file. The sides will need to be glued onto the middle section, but they should fit onto it pretty snuggly with no movement while the glue dries.

A1 Mini Version

The head is entirely the same as the regular version. The handle is split into a top and bottom half to fit within the bed, and the connect with a thread the same way the handle connects to the head.

Both versions have a hole for a ~165mm M6 threaded rod through the handle to add extra support.

People have reported having issues with the threads not fitting, so I have adjusted the clearances a bit and they should hopefully fit better. Please let me know if there are any issues.

There have also been issues with the handle snapping, so I have increased the infill percentage, but you can increase it even more if issues still persist.

I have not gotten around to painting my gavel, but I will upload finished pictures when I have.
