Description
Peije Rasp is the nickname of Freerk de Jong, born in Ureterp (1879) and deceased in Drachten (1941). Peije was a well-known street musician in the region, who played his accordion everywhere (Drachtster Courant, March 20, 2018). The annual Drachtster street festival was named after him: Peije Dei.
