Description
Modified a minimalist 3D printed paper airplane design published by (EIE_3D) that creates a striking illusion of aerial suspension through the balance between magnetic attraction and stabilizing lines.
The airplane appears to float in the air, tethered only by a thin, almost invisible string.
A modified plate has been added (the magnet area has been changed, most of the magnets are hidden; after modification, the magnets are easier to install than before, and using glue is also more convenient).
✈️ How it works
- A circular magnet is installed on top of the airplane
- A second identical magnet is placed on top of the base
- The magnets attract each other, creating an upward force
- A string connecting the base and the underside of the airplane limits the lift and stabilizes the system
- By adjusting the string's length, a perfect balance point is achieved, creating the levitation effect
