PETG would be more suitable for this, given that it can come into contact with food. just don't leave it exposed to the sun or intense heat. PETG material does not release bisphenol a and is safe for this purpose, always maintaining good product hygiene. PLA could also be used, but contact must be occasional and at room temperature
