Benchy TPU – Speed Print | Professional Lab TPU
Print Profile(1)

Description
I have created and carefully tuned a print profile specifically for Professional Lab TPU flexible filament.

For high-quality TPU printing, you must always dry the filament immediately before printing. You will achieve the best printing results if you dry the TPU during printing, especially for long printing times.
It is necessary to print at a very slow speed. Ideally, do not exceed 40 mm/s.
As you can see in the attached video/GIF, the profile was tested on the classic 3DBenchy. The result has excellent flexibility, great layer adhesion, and minimal stringing, which is often a challenge with TPU. You can squeeze the boat hard without breaking it, and it returns to its original shape instantly.
Important tips for printing TPU:
- Dry your filament! TPU is highly hygroscopic. To achieve the results shown in the video, you must dry the filament thoroughly before printing (e.g., 6-8 hours at 70+ °C).
- Printer: This profile is optimized for Bambu Lab P2S with a 0.4mm nozzle.
- Speed: The profile features intentionally reduced speeds and optimized retractions for reliable flexible material printing.
