Description
Festool has a proprietary electrical connector called PlugIt. This part allows exchanging the original cable of the MaxXT Random Orbital Sander with a PlugIt connector. This enables you using the original Festool Plugit Vacuum Hose with integraded power connector.
Exchange of elecrical parts at your own risk.
Part Number for original connector: 492602 (about 10€ when I bought it)
The Festool connector fits very snugly, you might need to use a file to smoothen the surface where the support material was attached to fit it.
I glued the two halves together for extra strength, but I guess this is not required.
My recommendation is to use PETG to get a strong part.
