Part in development!
I designed this tent pole connector from the Big Agnes Copper Spur 2, an older verison of the tent. This part unfortunately broke, but I was unable to find a replacement, thus 3D designed it myself. The geometry fits quite well, but i haven't found the right material or matierial layering to make it an acutally funktional part.
PLA is to rigid, and broke when I gave it a first try.
TPU for AMS worked better, but it is too soft, thus it bends too much and doesn't seem to withstand the tension of the arched tent poles (bends too much).
This is meant to be a project, for any of you experienced the same part-failue in your Big Agnes Copper Spur 2 and are looking to print a replacement.
