Floating Climber Illusion – Gravity Defying Sculpture

A modern sculptural model designed to create the illusion of a climber floating effortlessly in mid-air. The flowing rope line and minimalist human form combine to create a clean, dynamic silhouette that looks different from every angle — balancing motion, tension, and calm in one display piece.

This model is perfect as a desk sculpture, shelf display, or conversation starter. The illusion effect works especially well in light or matte filaments where the shape and shadows highlight the sense of weightlessness.

Instructions:

• Print with full support
• Start to remove the support at the top by taking small chunks out/twisting to the side
  • when you are at the torso, start to break the remaining support branches in the middle, this will make it easier to remove the support nestled in-between the rope and the chest and between the legs.
• Some light sanding might be needed under the lowest arm and the buttocks.
