Heru Comb -Polynesian hair comb
Print Profile(3)

Description
I was asked to create a traditional looking Heru comb. These are a traditional Polynesian comb, originally carved from wood or bone that is used to hold a bun of hair together at the back or top of the head. I have printed this in PLA and PLA wood with no issues. Use basic supports ( Tree supports are a bit messier ) and use only from print bed and only critical areas supported for best results. I have added three different designs. Can be made dual color with simple painting of certain areas of the design in studio. This prints nice in wood PLA and then stain for a wood effect. Prints better flat than standing on its side or upright (trust me i tried them all).
