Google Pixel XL 2016 - Dual Fan Cooling Stand

Unlimited Google Photos backups are great… but if you're running a 24/7 upload setup like me, the heat they build up is horrendous for both performance and battery health. I designed this dual-stand setup to keep mine and my partner's phone running nice and cool in my server cabinet.

🛠️ Additional Hardware Required

To complete this build, you will need:

• Fan: Computer Fan 120mm Dual Row 2 in 1 with 3 Adjustable Speed USB PC Fans 5V.
• 90° USB-C Adapter: 90Degree Right Angle USB C Male To USB C Female Adapter.
• Optional: USB Hub with an Ethernet port for a more reliable, hardwired upload connection. The Pixel devices are a little picky about which they accept. Personally, I use this one from Acer.

🔧 Assembly Tip

To increase stability, remove the long screws from the fan's anti-vibration feet and reinstall them through the center of the 3D-printed stand. This locks the fan and the mount into a single, solid unit.

• Infill: 15-20% Gyroid.
