Description

This is a compact and practical 3D-printable tool set designed for phone and small electronics repair. The models are simple, durable, and easy to print, making them a convenient addition to any maker’s toolkit. Best printed out of PETG or ABS for flexibility and strength.

The set includes:

  • Spudger – A slim, precision pry tool for disconnecting ribbon cables, lifting small components, and opening tight seams. The tapered tip allows careful leverage while reducing the risk of scratching delicate parts.
  • Wide Spudger – A broader pry tool that distributes pressure more evenly, making it ideal for separating screens or back covers without concentrating force in one spot.
  • Guitar Pick Pry Tool – A thin, flexible wedge designed to slide into small gaps around adhesive-sealed devices. Perfect for keeping panels slightly open as you work your way around the edge. I reccomend printing multiple.

Lightweight and easy to reprint if worn, these tools provide a reusable, printable alternative to store-bought pry tools. Ideal for hobbyists, repair enthusiasts, and makers who enjoy creating their own practical workshop accessories. I will be working on growing this collection with other tools in the future. All tools have been uploaded individually aswell.

Finishing Recommendation:

For best results, it is recommended to lightly file or sand the edges of each tool after printing. This helps remove minor layer lines, sharp corners, or small imperfections that can occur during the printing process.

Gently smoothing the edges ensures a more uniform surface, improving both the feel of the tool in hand and its performance when working with delicate electronics. A fine file or high-grit sandpaper works well, focussing especially on the tips and contact edges to achieve a clean, even finish.

Taking a few minutes to refine the edges will help the tools slide more smoothly into tight gaps and reduce the risk of marking or scratching device surfaces.

Great level of detail. I use the long spatula for applying adhesives and fillers. Very useful!

Precisely what I was needing and they work great. Printed in PETG, and they are both flexible and tough.
