Recommended Print Settings
- Layer Height: 0.12mm - 0.16mm (Lower layer heights will bring out the lovely smooth curves of the hippo and the details on the book pages).
- Wall Loops / Perimeters: 2-3
- Infill: 10% - 15% (Gyroid or Lightning to save filament).
- Supports: Yes. Tree supports are highly recommended under the arms and the book to ensure a clean overhang. The main body prints perfectly without supports.
- Brim: A standard brim is optional but recommended if your bed adhesion needs a little help.
- Material: Prints beautifully in standard PLA or Matte PLA for a smooth, clay-like finish.
Scale it up!
The model comes at a standard desk-friendly size, but it scales up beautifully. Print a giant one to use as a literal bookend!
