Description
Bought the inexpensive West Biking stand a while ago. Finally decided to give my wheels some proper attention… only to realize it supports QR / quick release only. 🙃
So I built the fix.
What this adds:
- 100x12 adapter w/ ⌀10mm extension
- 142x12 adapter w/ ⌀10mm extension
- Printed in PETG for strength and durability
It’s a simple add-on, but it completely transforms the stand.
Now it properly supports thru-axles and actually does the job. 👌
Design details (because details matter):
- Cream adapters → like human bones (strong core).
- Dark spacers → clean contrast.
- Orange caps → inspired by Strava, Zwift, and Gatorade. 😂
Functional. Minimal. No more hacks.
Now it works.
