VAG PD TDI EGR Valve and Pipe Block-offs

This is a set of EGR block-off plates for intake manifold only for various VAG TDI engines, including BEW, BHW, and BRM.  Compression limiters are required for permanent install and I only recommend PAHT-CF or materials with even higher temperature resistance.  The EGR valve block-offs are designed to retain good flow through the intake manifold, as opposed to just a flat plate which leaves open the passages in the manifold.

For the EGR valve block-off plates, 3x 6x8x5 (I.D.xO.D.xH) compression limiters are required, and for the pipe block-off plate, 2x 8x10x10 compression limiters are required.  Because the plastic will not hold bolt torque like metal over extended periods of time, compression limiters are required to prevent warping of the print during install, and loosening of the fasteners over time.

The BEW/BHW EGR valve block-offs are designed to be used with the original o-ring for install, but a small amount of a suitable RTV is highly recommended to ensure a good seal to the intake manifold, as 3d prints may have rough surface textures.  Make sure to not use an excessive amount, and to allow the proper cure time to avoid bits of RTV from being injested into the engine.  Double check the install after some use to ensure there are no leaks.
