This word clock displays the time in either German or English and is controlled by an ESP32.
Thanks to the integrated RTC module, it operates reliably even without Wi-Fi.

Brightness, color, and night mode settings can be conveniently adjusted via an integrated web interface.

🌐 Easy Wi-Fi Setup

After startup, the clock automatically creates its own Wi-Fi access point for one minute.

Using this access point, the clock can be easily accessed and configured via smartphone.

The following settings can be adjusted:

• Day and night brightness
• Color
• Night mode schedule (when dimming should occur)
• Switch to East German phrasing 😉 (German version only)
• Synchronize time with your smartphone

Thanks to the RTC module, the clock continues to run even without Wi-Fi.

🔌 Wiring

• The RTC module typically uses a 3V supply and can be powered directly from the ESP32
• The LEDs should use a separate 5V power supply
• LEDs are controlled via pin 5
• SDA connected to pin 21
• SCL connected to pin 22
