This IKEA SKADIS holder accommodates the common maintenance duo for many 3D printers

Suitable for (Model A – Standard):

• Super Lube Multi-Purpose Synthetic Grease with PTFE (21030 / 85 g / 3 oz)
• Synco Lube Multi-Use Synthetic Oil with PTFE (51004 / 118,29 ml / 4 fl oz)
   

Plus version (Model B – with extra slot for EZ-Z Luber):

• everything from Model A
• additionally a compartment for the EZ-Z Luber by Jetpad - so the Z-spindle helper is always readily available right next to the grease

Model C (new variant with 32-mm applicator slot)

By popular demand from the community, there is now an additional variant for a separate oil applicator with approx 32 mm diameter

This version is intended for users who do not use the Synco Lube oil directly from the original bottle, but transfer it into their own applicator

• everything from Model A
• additionally a compartment for an applicator/needle bottle with 32mm diameter

Note: Applicator bottles may vary slightly depending on the manufacturer. The variant is designed for an applicator with approx 32 mm diameter

What does the holder actually do

• keeps grease & oil neatly on the board, instead of sticking somewhere on the table
• makes maintenance "quick and easy" possible – without searching through a junk box
• Model B: EZ-Z Luber directly next to the grease, ready to hand
• Model C: additional space for a separate 32-mm applicator
• stable SKADIS mount with triple hooks for secure hold
• tested with original IKEA SKADIS and printed boards

Material tip:
PLA generally works. However, if the board hangs near a warm printer enclosure or frequently experiences higher temperatures, I would rather recommend PETG or ASA. This simply provides a bit more temperature reserve

Print instructions / settings

• 0.20 mm layer height
• 3 walls
• 15% infill (Gyroid)
• slow down outer wall (for nice edges)
• Tree Support (Auto)
  • only build plate
  • disable "remove small overhangs"
