Description
A fully parametric 4-way rod connector with an adjustable angle, designed for connections even at challenging angles.
This connector is ideal for modular frames, prototypes, stands, enclosures, and custom structures built from round rods or tubes.

The length_factor parameter extends the arms near the center to prevent gaps when angled arms overlap - Extra strength ribs (optional)
Internal ribs reinforce the joint without increasing outer size. Note that for small angles these may not be necessary - Optimized for strongest print orientation
Includes a built-in cut for stand-up printing, improving the connector strength where it matters most.

- rod_diameter_mm – nominal rod diameter
- clearance_mm – tolerance for easy insertion
- wall_thickness_mm – connector wall thickness
- insert_depth_in_units_of_rod_diameter – how deep the rod inserts
- yz_angle_deg – adjustable angle (1–90°)
- length_factor – extend arms near the center to prevent gaps when angled arms overlap
- extra_strength – enable internal ribs
- strongest_print_orientation – auto-orient for maximum strength
Printing Notes
- Designed for FDM printing
- Works well with PLA, PETG, ABS
- Print in the default (strongest_print_orientation) orientation for best mechanical strength
- Increase perimeters for heavy-load applications
